USMC Toys for Tots Toy Run

It's time once again to strap down the teddy bears, locate your favorite Santa hat and dust the snowflakes off the scooter in preparation for the 15th Annual USMC Toys for Tots Toy Run. Due to the devastation that was cause by Hurricane Ike, we're going to need your help more than ever this year!! So, please gather all your friends, neighbors, and please come help us make this our biggest year ever. There will be so many more children needing our help this year!!!! We will leave Walter Hall Park in League City, Texas at 10:30 a.m. on December 13 and, with a police escort, proceed to the Pasadena Rodeo Grounds for a full day of activities sure to provide fun for the entire family.

Live entertainment is to be provided by Guitar Phil and his band... The Kids' Zone will feature Santa Claus and his elves, kid games and The Famous Train Ride!! Adults will find their own brand of entertainment in the bike games, chili cook-off, an auction, motorcycle show, VW Auto Club and the 4x4 Show & Shine. Our 4x4 buddies will also include a CAR CRUNCH Show this year. Plenty of vendors will also be on hand for those in need of last minute Christmas shopping ideas. The day will culminate with the raffling off of a 2008 Soft tail Deluxe Harley-Davidson .But hurry-raffle tickets are $20 each but only 2500 are being sold this year. We are also raffling off a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder, $5.00 per ticket.

Admission to the run is either a $5 cash donation or a new, unwrapped toy. Last year we were locally able to purchase $45,000 in toys in addition to the toys collected from drop sites around Houston and during the day of the event. So please make plans to come out again in support of this fine organization and make 2008 a record-setting year. This run is open to all motorcycles and motorcyclists and is a rain or shine event. The parade is for motorcycles only; cars come straight to The Pasadena Rodeo Grounds.
